Cinque spari al cuore della musica

"Sono stato colpito": ecco le ultime parole di John Lennon in quella fatidica sera dell'8 dicembre 1980. A ucciderlo, un suo fan sfegatato: Mark David Chapman. Chapman aveva con sé un revolver calibro 38, alcune cassette dei Beatles e una copia de Il giovane Holden.

Lennon stava rincasando insieme a Yoko al 'Dakota Suite' (così si chiama il palazzo sul Central Park in cui era situato il suo appartamento), di ritorno da una seduta di registrazione. Il folle premette cinque volte il grilletto. "E' stato il demonio" dirà più tardi alla polizia.
